I wanted to like it and I did at times but the writing was very stylized in a way that didn't appeal to me? It made it quite boring tbh,  The author did a great job at executing the atmosphere though, I could almost feel the sticky humid air but again I was never enthralled in the story, that being said its highly rated and I've seen many people recommended it. It does contain CSA so TW for that.

Now this book completely enthralled me, I loved the premise and the and its also very stylized and surreal. I really enjoyed this read it was quick and weird. Although it may not be for everyone.

Im currently playing Little Goody Two Shoes on Steam its available on Switch as well, and I believe PS5. It sooo cute and fun to play. Its a good mix of cozy and horror and so reminiscent of a 90s rpg game. I also bought Tamadochi life and Pokopia but this game has consumed me and filled a void that the other two were not hitting. I needed a good story I suppose. Anyways highly recommended if you like story depth, anime art and cute horror. 

These are what I call my night cap games. I can never fall asleep at night but I do like cozying up in bed so I like to leave a smaller console on my night stand, typically my ds lite or game boy. I'm currently playing Harvest Moon, More Friends of Mineral Town, Its super cute and cozy and I love the nostalgia. 

The other game Ive been playing before bed is Super Princess Peach. Super cute and a good platform game.

Went to my local shelter to pass time, and met this sweet fella.

He was the perfect cat, he was cuddly, independent, smart(i had to put locks on his food/treat drawer)I named him after Bram Stoker, and he embodied a vampire. 

he lived a short life but he made mine full.

Ive loved everything Ive ever read by Otessa and this did not disappoint. Another weird story about a weird girl who gets herself in a sticky situation. The character is so well voiced and I enjoyed her narration. I recommend!

Its a classic! What can I say, its been on my tbr for a while but since the movie came out it got pushed towards the front. It was a good read, the characters are very complex and annoying but it was compelling and well written.

Emery and babies

I typically foster through Mary S Roberts in Riverside. They use Slack to communicate and post pics of pets that need foster care. I saw Emery on the chat and she looked so sweet. She was recently given up after she got pregnant with her previous owners. Now I did feel incredibly conflicted by this. Shelters are incredibly full and spay aborts are the best option for both the shelters and the cat but this shelter does not do them. So I sat on it for a couple days and she was still there unclaimed in the chat so I decided to volunteer to foster her. It has been a lovely experience but I probably wouldn't do it again, and I regret not sticking to my morals. Anyways lol, heres Emery and babies!

Waffles

I received a text on April 29th about a kitten that was found at my husbands grandmothers house. My daughter and niece decided to name him Waffles. I took him to the vet and they said he was about 5/6 weeks and healthy! Since than he has been such a boisterous guy blending in immediately with my cats and dogs. He is also such a snuggle bug. If he ever catches me on my couch he cozies up right next me. I hope to neuter him and find him a home. I have someone interested, so hopefully that works out for Mr Waffles.
